NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the PUBLIC TEST of the Marksense Eagle and Edge voting equipment to be used at the Partisian Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. 

The test will be held in the Board Room of the Village Hall located at 115 N Center St, Brandon, WI .

This public test is open to the general public per Chapter 5, Sec. 5.84, Wisconson Statutes.

VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT

 Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may request to vote an absentee ballot.  A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen, who will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, who has resided in the ward or municipality where he or she wishes to vote for at least 28 consecutive days before the election.  The elector must also be registered in order to receive an absentee ballot. 

 
YOU MUST MAKE A REQUEST FOR AN ABSENTEE BALLOT IN WRITING.
 
Contact your municipal clerk and request that an application for an absentee ballet be sent to you for the election.   You can also visit http://myvote.wi.gov to request an absentee ballot, GAB-121.  Complete the form, print and submit form to the Village Clerk.  You can submit your request via fax, e-mail, or U.S. Postal Service. 
 
VOTING AN ABSENTEE BALLOT IN PERSON
 
You may also request and vote an absentee ballot in the clerk's office in person. 
 
In person absentee voting for the Village of Brandon is ONLY October 20, 2014 - October 31, 2014 during office hours of 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday.  Friday hours are 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. 
 
 
   

Dog Licensing Reminder:

All dogs 5 months of age shall be licensed annually by March 31st.  A $5.00 late fee is assessed after March 31st. 

Forms & Fees are payable at the Clerk's office.

   
Please remember to contact the Village Clerk's office prior to a project to obtain a building permit application.  Permit fees double if the proper permit and fees are not taken care of prior to the project beginning!

Seniors are meeting every Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Brandon Emanuel Lutheran Church.

 

There is also a pot luck the first Wednesday of every month at noon, followed by table games.
