Q: What are the Clerk’s office hours?

A: The Clerk is in the office Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Generally the office is closed over the lunch hour from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. 


Q: Where can Sewer & Water Payments be made?

A:  Sewer & Water payments can be mailed, dropped off at the Clerk’s office during regular hours, left in the Clerk’s drop box after hours, or dropped off at either of the Brandon Banks.


Q: What forms of payment does the Clerk accept for Sewer & Water payments?

A: Payments can be made by cash or check.  If paying by cash, please have correct change.  Also, payments can be made with MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, or Debit cards at WWW.GovPayNow.com.  When paying online you will need the Brandon Sewer & Water Utilities PLC code 7404.


Q: When is garbage pick-up?

A: Garbage pickup is every Friday, and recycling is every other Friday.  Please have everything to the curb by 7a.m. or you may be missed.


Q: What day is recycling pick-up? 

A: Recycling is every other Friday.  Please refer to the brochure you received with your new garbage and recycling carts.


Q: It’s Friday and my garbage was not picked up?

A: Chances are, if your garbage was not picked up, there may have been a holiday in the week.  Service will be delayed one day during holiday weeks, which means garbage and/or recycling will be picked up on Saturday.


Q: The garbage truck came by and only picked up what was in my cart and not what I had on the ground next to it.  Why didn't they take everything?

A: Please make sure all of your garbage/recyclables fit in the proper cart.  If you have more garbage or recyclables than will fit in the cart provided you will need to call Advanced Disposal at 1-800-387-0949 to purchase an additional cart.  All garbage and recyclables must fit in the provided cart to be picked up.
