Minutes of the Meeting held
Monday, February 28, 2011
Members of the Village of Brandon Public Works Committee met in the Village Hall located at 115 N Center Street in Brandon, WI on Monday, February 28, 2011.
Chair Steve Tetzlaff called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m.
The following were present: Department of Public Works Director Vance Henning, Trustee Pam Sauer, Trustee Mike Walgenbach and President Rick Peterson.
Public Works Director Vance Henning reported that the Village Sewer and Water Utility is still in the running for grant funds for updating the pump to well #2.
There was a discussion on the sewer credit using Johnson Creek’s policy as an example. Information will be give to all Board members at the regular March meeting.
The lawn mower specifications need to be approved. These specifications need to be put in bid form and then published in the local paper.
The ditch project from the railroad tracks north to Dixon Road was discussed. This will be put on the agenda for the March regular meeting.
President Peterson will speak with Mark Sippel and Nolan Insurance regarding the incident that occurring in December 2009 during the Fire Department’s Parade and Supper with Santa.
On a motion by Committee Chair Tetzlaff/Trustee Walgenbach, the committee meeting adjourned.
