On a motion by Trustees DeCramer/Henker, passed on a voice vote, the Board approved the minutes of the May 14, 2012 regular monthly meeting.

The generator transfer switch in pump house #1 does not work properly.  Director of Public Works Henning has received a quote of $1,705.00 to replace the switch, replace the programming card and service the generator.

On a motion by Trustees Henker/DeCramer, carried on a roll call vote, the Board approved the expenditure of $1,705.00 to replace the switch, replace the programming card and service the generator at pump house #1.

Director of Public Works Henning further reported that the DNR now requires that both wells be physically inspected. Also, well #2 is the backup well and it needs to be run for twelve (12) or more hours to check its performance over that time period.  The quote from Municipal Well & Pump, located in Fond du Lac, to perform this service is $1,380.00.

On a motion by Trustees DeCramer/Walgenbach, carried on a roll call vote, the Board approved the inspection of well #1 and well #2 at a cost of $1,380.00.

Director of Public Works Henning also reported that he received a call from the Department of Natural Resources concerning a meeting on the proposed phosphorus limits.  The Village of Brandon is number one on the list because we are the headwaters of the Rock River.  The limits go into effect March 2013.  He suggested that when this meeting is set, everyone try to attend as this is an extremely important matter.

No other business came before the Board.  On a motion by Trustees Krohn/Tarr, passed on a voice vote, the Board adjourned at 7:22 p.m.
