Minutes of a Monthly Meeting

Monday, April 14, 2014

 

Trustees of the Villageof Brandon, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsinmet in the Village of Brandon Board Room on Monday, April 14, 2014.

 

President Steve Tetzlaffcalled the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and presided.  Village Clerk Vande Zande recorded the minutes of the meeting.

 

The following trustees were present: Diane Horvath, Mike Walgenbach, Kurt Krohn, Dave Tarrand Carole DeCramer.

 

The following were present in the audience: Department of Public Works Director, Vance Henning; and Library Director, Christy Ross (7:13 p.m.).

 

On a motion by Trustees DeCramer/Walgenbach, unanimously carried on a roll call vote, the Board approved the April 2014 payments as attached.

 

On a motion by Trustees DeCramer/Horvath, unanimously passed on a roll call vote, the Board approved the financial reports as of April 14, 2014.

 

On a motion by Trustees Tarr/DeCramer, unanimously passed on a voice vote, the Board approved the minutes of the March 10, 2014 utility meeting.

None

 

Department of Public Works Director, Vance Henning, reported to date seven contractors had pulled plans for the South Woodward Stproject.  Don Neitzel, of Kunkel Engineering, expects 10 or more bids on the project.

 

Clerk Vande Zande reported the Federal Government may offer a Public Disaster Declaration for Fond du LacCounty.  Henning assisted Clerk in reporting all expenses related to the winter’s water breaks, lateral freezes and sewer repairs. 

 

Director of Public Works Director, Vance Henning, reported 4 houses continue to run their water to prevent water services from freezing.  The Woodward Stjoint repair held during recent heavy rains.

 

No other business came before the Board.  The Board adjourned at 7:14 pm on a motion by Trustees Krohn/Tarr and unanimously passed on a voice vote.
