Minutes of a Monthly Meeting
Monday, March 10, 2014
Trustees of the Village of Brandon, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin met in the Village of Brandon Board Room on Monday, March 10, 2014.
President Steve Tetzlaff called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and presided. Village Clerk Vande Zande recorded the minutes of the meeting.
The following trustees were present: Diane Horvath, Mike Walgenbach, Kurt Krohn, Dave Tarr and Carole DeCramer.
The following were present in the audience: Department of Public Works Director, Vance Henning; Richard Vollbrecht; Damian Lonnee; Police Chief, Tom Dornbrook (7:12 p.m.).
On a motion by Trustees DeCramer/Horvath, unanimously carried on a roll call vote, the Board approved the March 2014 payments as attached.
On a motion by Trustees Tarr/DeCramer, unanimously passed on a roll call vote, the Board approved the financial reports as of March 10, 2014.
On a motion by Trustee DeCramer/President Tetzlaff, unanimously passed on a voice vote, the Board approved the minutes of the February 10, 2014 utility meeting.
Department of Public Works Director, Vance Henning, reported Kunkel Engineering has begun the survey work for the possible South Woodward Street project. He suggested Finance and Public Works committees meet to discuss how much money can be committed to the project.
Director of Public Works Director, Vance Henning, reported there are now approximately 40 houses running water to prevent water services from freezing. Most of these houses are on Main St. He spoke with Nolan Insurance regarding a possible part time employee. Nolan’s would need driver’s license information.
No other business came before the Board. The Board adjourned at 7:13 pm on a motion by Trustees Horvath/Tarr and unanimously passed on a voice vote.
