Minutes of a Monthly Meeting
Monday, October 10, 2016
Trustees of the Villageof Brandon, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin met in the Village of Brandon Board Room on Monday, October 10, 2016.
President David Tarr called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m. and presided. Clerk Corinne Vande Zande recorded the minutes of the meeting.
The following trustees were present: Gwen Shoffner, Richard Vollbrecht and Mike Walgenbach.
The following were present in the audience: Director of Public Works, Vance Henning; Clayton Jahns, Robert Newton, Jane Newton and Angie Loomans.
The October 2016 payments (as attached) were approved by the Board on a motion by Trustees Walgenbach/Vollbrecht and unanimously passed on a roll call vote.
The financial reports as of October 10, 2016 were approved by the Board on a motion by Trustees Walgenbach/Shoffner and unanimously passed on a roll call vote.
The minutes of the September 12, 2016 utility meeting were approved by the Board on a motion by Trustees Tarr/Shoffner and unanimously passed on a voice vote.
Director of Public Works, Vance Henning, requested the Board review the rough draft of the wellhead protection ordinance prepared by Village Engineer, Don Neitzel and Village Attorney, Lud Wurtz. The ordinance is a DNR requirement to protect ground water. Discussion of the ordinance will take place at a future meeting when Attorney Wurtz is able to attend. Item tabled until next month.
Director of Public Works, Vance Henning, reported the water tower will not be painted this year. We are first on the list for Spring 2017.
No other business came before the Board. The Board adjourned at 7:10 pm on a motion by Trustees Vollbrecht/Shoffner and unanimously passed on a voice vote.
